A “post” frost wine ( a vintage after the very damaging Frost of 2019 ) Cabernet Sauvignon was the worst variety effected, the Merlot which was mixed with the Cabernet was only marginally effected.  This 2020 vintage Tunney has a predominance of Merlot , but it is difficult to measure due to the frost circumstances.

Hence we have a small vintage of Cabernet dominant Merlot !

A nice deep brick red colour and a  good cabernet nose on this 2020 Tunney.

The vintage spent 26 months in good French oak prior to bottling and has grown in stature in its time spent in the bottle to date , a lovely cabernet driven Merlot is the best way to describe the 2020 Tunney !!
